Multi-cancer liquid biopsy early screening technology has reached a milestone and officially entered medical insurance pilot programs. This technology identifies early signals of multiple cancers through methylation characteristics of circulating free DNA, opening a new path for early cancer detection and treatment.

Technical principle

Tumor cells release DNA into the blood during growth. Liquid biopsy detects methylation characteristics of circulating free DNA to capture signals at early stages of cancer, achieving multi-cancer screening from one tube of blood. Compared with traditional examinations, it is far less invasive than methods such as endoscopy.

Clinical application value

Early detection is key to improving cancer survival rates. This technology is especially suitable for routine screening of high-risk populations, and positive results trigger targeted imaging and specialty review, avoiding excessive anxiety and unnecessary intervention.

Significance for international patients

International patients planning checkups in China can learn about applicable items through checkup services and include multi-cancer early screening in their health management plans.

MedBridge services

MedBridge provides closed-loop services from sampling to interpretation at partner hospitals, helping international patients conveniently complete screening and follow-up consultations.
